Under the direction and supervision of Elias Dakwar, M.D., our treatment research focuses on pharmacological and mindfulness-based interventions for various substance-related disorders.

Dr. Dakwar, a board-certified psychiatrist and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Division on Substance Abuse at Columbia University, is involved, along with other licensed physicians, in the evaluation and care of all participants in our research trials. Dr. Dakwar has received research awards from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
